A trailblazing new podcast called “The Telepathy Tapes” launched recently. The host, Ky Dickens, takes listeners on a journey into the “shockingly” conscious world of non-speaking individuals with autism.

Non-speaking autistic individuals have been looked down upon and dismissed as “less than” for much of their lives, and yet it’s being revealed that not only are they communicating — they are doing so through the mind only — what we call telepathy.

Many people have shared this podcast with me because I’ve been recently diagnosed as autistic. This diagnosis has literally made clear thousands of things about myself and my life that I couldn’t explain.

Obviously I’m on a different part of the spectrum because I can communicate verbally. I also present in culturally-normative ways that eased my path in some ways but also created that mask of being unseen for who and how I am for so many decades.

What you may not know is that I’m also able to communicate with unseen realms. I became aware of this ability in my 20s, and yet it’s still hard for me to talk about — mostly because it’s often faced with skepticism. This is the tender part that feels sad about “The Telepathy Tapes” because it has taken so long for unseen gifts to be taken seriously.

In this episode of the Business By Nature Podcast, I share my musings on this new podcast and give words to some things not so easily expressed by others. I do recommend listening to “The Telepathy Tapes” — because it is much needed in this world.

In this episode I also mention my teacher Mellissa Seaman and her teacher Maria Yracebruru — check them out!
